ken
demko, president of the firm, is a dallas texas native with 25 years of site construction, hvac, renovation and design experience. ken's work has been recognized in numerous construction and design periodicals. we began in west texas in1977 as a small, specialized company. by 1979 as demand for our services became greater in the dallas fort worth area, we relocated to dallas. since that time we have re-directed our focus to being a one-stop design-build contractor. our clients are finding that the design-build method significantly improves costs, quality, and scheduling. clients are discovering this is the optimum project method. since 1979 demko construction & design, inc. has been the design-build contractor for over 30 locations for the nationwide sports bar chain: clicks, inc. this relationship helped elevate demko construction & design, inc.s profile and led to receiving the award for design excellence in 8 of the last 10 years in a national design competition for similar locations. this relationship with clicks, inc. continues to be strong today. demko construction & design, inc. participated in such high-profile projects as voltaires, sushi-saki, sevys grill, and big shots sports caf. prior to becoming a design-build professional ken was licensed by the state of texas as an hvac contractor and master plumber. while still located in west texas, ken completed a design-build leasehold project in n. dallas. after coming to dallas he partnered with a major electrical contractor and performed responsibilities
as a master electrician. during that time he was also involved in code revision procedures for the national
electrical code. kens past electrical and mechanical knowledge aided tremendously in the early stages of
design-build in cost issues by knowing the regulations and codes before any
costly errors could be made.
today kens functions have expanded to include
site evaluations and feasibility studies for most of his long-standing
clients. |
